Now, everybody's going to have different dreams and goals and yours might be to just relax more. It could be being the best possible mother in the world, or being one of the most supportive friends.

This week I wanted to share with you some things I do on a regular basis to be really intentional about what I choose to expose my energy to.
I want to point out that this is a choice, some might not agree but with a little awareness and some strong boundaries, you get to create the environment you live in.
All of it, is how you work, who you spend time with, and what media you expose yourself to. These are all choices we make every day. Sometimes not consciously.

As we start our new year we all have dreams, goals, new things we want to come into our lives and other things we want to let go of.
Today I would like to share with you how I show up for myself and why it’s important for you to know that you can do this for yourself also.
If you want some of the things to change in your life or if you maybe want to change everything then the first step is to KNOW that in order for things to change, you have to change. You can’t do, act, & be the same and expect different results.
The first step in this endeavor is to just make the DECISION that you are doing this for YOU and no one else but YOU. It’s important because you most likely won’t bring about big changes if there is not a lot of passion behind it. So, ask yourself the question, why do I want to do this and why is it important?
The next thing I want you to know is that to make big changes you don’t have to take huge leaps. You just have to leap. Small...
Very recently I had a day. I was just feeling so blah and I was kinda mad because I had a lot of stuff I wanted to do.
But I know when I’m feeling this way It’s not the right time for me to write or do a live. So I’m basically not getting any work done.
So then my feelings move into not just blah but also a little bit stressed because I know I’m not getting anything done.
Have you been here? You need to get stuff done but your feeling kinda sad and then you're stressed because you're not getting anything done. LOL. A vicious circle.
This is when I know it’s time to treat myself to some self-care.
Here are a few ways I treat myself. When I take the time and give myself the space I can bounce back in just a few hours. Sometimes I just need a day though.

I think it’s important to have different points of view from different types of coaches.
My goal is to have coaches and healers who work differently than I do in order for you to have the most beneficial and expansive experience when you spend time in the SASC Community.

When I teach and use self-care practices in my life I always refer to it as Deep-Level Self-Care.
The reason I do this is that for me it's not only about some of the more surface-level practices like a hot bubble bath or getting my nails done with friends. Also very important.
What Do You Think Your Limitations Are?
So as you begin to dream bigger and set big goals what does the voice say in your head?
What do you think might be blocking you, stopping you from having everything you dream of?
At the moment you write down that big dream, what pops up in your head? Pay attention because a lot of the time, we are so used to this negative voice in our head, we don’t even notice it.
When working with people and when I’m working on my dreams we will often think, I have a block.
What is my block? Why can’t I figure it out? Why can’t I get there?
Well over time I learned it's hiding right there in your head, you just have to pay attention.
So the next time you're working on something or writing out your goals and desires in the morning, stop for a moment and listen.
What is that voice saying? Some people call it the ego, and some have a name for it. Negative Nancy, Debbie Downer, Party...
In order to start to dream big and to be able to bring these dreams into our reality, we need to get aligned with them.
We know our core values, so we know where we want to focus our energy. But how do we protect our energy and get into a higher vibration in our lives?

If you knew you could have anything you wanted without fail, what would you pursue?
This is the magic question.
Most people don’t go much further than this because they don’t think they can have what they want.
They might think it’s too big, too much, too whatever.
Or, they might think, I’m too young, too old, not educated enough, not experienced enough.
The bigness of it overwhelms you and it feels much safer to stick with the status quo.
I’m here to tell you, if you can think it, dream it, you get to have it.
Think of it this way. As soon as it pops into your head, it exists. It’s there, bamm, you just started the creation process. Don’t leave it hanging!
Think about the i phone. If someone told you about a dream they had to create this handheld iphone/computer in the 70s you would have thought they were bat shit crazy.
But here we are.

Everything we are surrounded with throughout our whole life gives us the impression that once we reach mid-life as women we are past our prime, old and worn out, and that we are at some kind of an endpoint.
Media and advertising lead us to believe that aging is not good and we should do everything in our power to stop and delay it.
It might make us feel stuck, unappreciated, somewhat invisible, overwhelmed, and just plain tired.
