We live in a world where the rules seem to change daily, or maybe there are no rules at all.
What we once knew as “the norm,” the things we could expect, has turned into anything can and will happen.
We wake up every morning to a new emergency, disruption, or disaster, and that’s just the world outside of us. We also have all of our own personal challenges to deal with.
So, how do we find comfort, calm, and peace in a world where it seems there are no rules, and the so-called people in charge are behaving badly and making up their own as they go?
This constant uncertainty puts us in a state of stress, anxiety, and overwhelm. The more you tune into it, the more stressed you will feel.
Today, I want to share some things you can do to help you feel grounded in a world that seems to ...
Over the course of a year, my life has changed so much. Not really from the outside looking in. I would assume that my life would seem boringly the same as always, and even when people ask me, “What’s new?” I always say, “You know, same old stuff, different day.”
But the change isn’t obvious to others. And it’s also not something easily shared in a casual conversation. I think it’s because most people don’t want to have a deep-level conversation... unfortunately. But also because I might sound a bit crazy.
I’m a little reluctant to share my crazy with most people in my life. So, of course, I’ll be sharing it with you.
If you want to respond by saying or thinking I’m crazy, I do care… a little. But I also know that if I’m listening to my authentic self and I really want to align with what feels right, then I’m on the right path.
That’s something new for me. A trait I wished I always honored, and now have to. And when I say “have to,” I mean HAVE TO. If I try to do something out of a...
I want to share what the title of my blog (Soul Aligned Life) means and why it's so important to me.
Ever since I can remember, from when I was a little girl, I’m talking kindergarten, there was this theme in my life that caused stress or discomfort. The overall theme I needed to experience, and that was most important to me, was freedom.
It never made sense to me in school that we weren’t allowed to be free. Free to go to the bathroom when needed, free to speak our mind, free to ask questions we wanted to ask instead of the questions the teachers wanted to answer, or the only ones they would answer.
Starting at this point in my life, I started to become kind of a little rebel. I was going to do what I wanted, when I wanted. I did it quietly, though, I never wanted to cause too much friction for others.
For example, if my mother wanted me to wear something to s...
Hey there, friends!
As February rolls around, I find myself in a cozy, introspective state. Instead of chasing big goals or resolutions, I’m leaning into the quiet energy of winter. For me, this season is all about rest, reflection, and reconnecting with what truly matters. It’s like nature’s way of reminding us to slow down, go inward, and prepare for the growth and abundance that spring and summer will bring.
I’ve always felt a deep connection to the natural cycles of the year. Here’s how I see it:
Tuning into this cycle has been a game-changer for me. It helps me feel grounded, intentional, and ready to thrive. And right now, in the heart of winter, I’m taking the time to reflect on my life and make sure I’m aligned with what I truly want to experience in th...

I can't remember a time in my life more stressful than the way things are feeling right now, and I think a majority of the people on this planet would agree. I don't care who you are, where you live, and what your values are, I believe collectively we are all feeling the intense energy that is everywhere. I also believe that most humans in this world right now want the same things. We want to be safe, have affordable shelter, adequate and healthy food, we want to be able to thrive while giving back to our communities in a beneficial and purposeful way (Our Work). We want to explore and have fun with our friends and families. We want to feel good and be able to maintain our health without a struggle. These are really just the basics and we all should have all of these things. Every person on the planet.
I started this year spiraling into a deep sadness, stress, anxiety, anger, and hopelessness. But I've had enough of that, I'm now ready to move through this shit and move forward in a ...

Understanding Boundaries as Self-Love
What Are Boundaries?
Boundaries are personal guidelines that dictate what is acceptable and what isn’t in our lives. Think of them as your own personal rulebook, unique to you and not dictated by societal norms. They serve as a protective measure for our energy and emotional well-being.
Personal Guidelines: Boundaries are unique to each person and reflect individual needs and values. They’re like your personal compass.
