Try This One Thing To Feel Better Now!

I think daily Deep-Level Self-Care is so important.

If you're just getting started this one thing is a great way to reduce stress and anxiety very quickly.

Practice this one Soul Aligned Deep Level Self-Care practice that’s easy to implement, is free, fun, and is effective right in the moment.

Don’t want to read about it? Watch the video HERE.

 This just works instantly.

Why does it work?

Because it’s impossible to feel bad while you’re doing it!

What is it?

Gratitude. Now don’t stop reading here and say, “I know, I know.”

What I want you to consider is starting a gratitude practice this week, today, especially if you feel a little bit stressed or triggered during the holidays.

Having a gratitude practice will automatically:

  • Raise your vibe. Remember what you focus on expands. The more you focus on these feelings, the better you will feel.
  • Help you see more to be grateful for, it’s contagious This is more of the above. When you stay focused daily on how lucky and fortunate you really are the more wonderful things you will notice. This is the RAS at work (Reticular Activating System) Learn more about this HERE.
  • Reduces stress and anxiety right in the moment. You see, it’s hard to focus on anything else when you're focused on what you’re grateful for. You can’t focus on being sad or angry. So if you want to improve your mood, focus on the good.

 How To Start:

  • Get yourself a notebook. Anything will do. Write on the front ”Gratitude Journal”. Now, you’re ready!
  • Keep it right next to your bed or where you sit.
  • Every morning or night, or both! Write down 3, 5, 10 things you’re grateful for. It can be big, I got a new job! It can also be small, My morning coffee time. Try to change it up. Don’t write the same thing every day. Think of at least a couple of new things.

How to start when you can’t think of anything?

 Just start small.

I’m grateful for this community, I’m grateful for my coffee/tea, My puppies(Always), my cozy bed, I have food, my cool gray streaks in my hair! It can be anything.

For an added bonus, Tell someone in your life how grateful you are for them. You have no idea how much you can change someone's day, or even life when you tell them this. Don’t assume they know this.

I can’t think of anyone who wouldn’t love to hear something like this!

Sometimes we think the people we love and care about automatically know how much we love and care. This is not always true. We not only need to remind them of this on a regular basis but we also need to tell them why.

Your kids, friends, significant others, that person at the coffee shop who makes your coffee every day, and let's not forget our parents.

Make a point to tell these people how much you appreciate them and love them. It definitely will not hurt!

I hope you can not only change your own perspective with this but also create a positive ripple effect this holiday week!

 Xtra love and care.

Xo, T
