The Six Great Benifits of a Plant Based Whole Food Diet

I've been eating a plant based whole food diet for about 4 years now. I remember when I first started how fantastic I felt. I could not believe the difference. Here are some of the benefits that made the biggest impact.

WEIGHT LOSS

As soon as I started eating a plant based whole food diet that was low in sugar those extra pounds that followed me around dropped off. When your eating plant based whole foods your eating more fiber, water, vitamins , and minerals. Weight loss will naturally occur in this situation.

ENERGY

This was the most noticeable changes to me, Within the first week I felt incredible! Animal foods are hard for your body to digest. This extra work can slow you down quite a bit. Plant based whole foods are naturally easier to digest and are also chock full of powerful nutrients to help make you unstoppable!

LOWER CANCER RISK

This was an important benefit to me because I have a high Cancer rate in my family tree. Eating a plant based whole food diet full of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber is one of the best ways to lower your Cancer risks. Animal foods have been linked to Cancer, especially Colon and Breast.

DIGESTION

Eating plant based whole foods that are high in fiber, water, and healthy fats can help with chronic constipation, bloating, gas, and heartburn. People who normally eat a lot of meat and dairy could benefit greatly from this and see the difference within the first week!

BLOOD PRESSURE

This is not something that had a huge impact on me at the time although a large portion of the population suffer from high blood pressure. I would much rather eat a plant based whole food diet then take a pill the rest of my life! Veggies, nuts, seeds, and legumes are rich in potassium and vitamin B6 which help lower blood pressure. Meat and most animal products contain little to no potassium and are known to help raise blood pressure.

GREAT SKIN

I have cystic acne and I'm always trying to figure out ways to help control it. This worked out for me in a major way. Plant based whole foods are rich in vitamins A, C, E, water, and antioxidants. These do wonders for your skin and will help you stay gorgeous well into the future.
